We are pleased to advise that at the 5 June meeting the AISC approved the 2019 Industry Skills Forecasts and Proposed Schedules of Work, along with a number of Cases for Endorsement and Cases for Change.
The following 2019 Industry Skills Forecasts and Proposed Schedules of Work have been approved:
2019 MEA Aerospace Industry Skills Forecast
2019 MEM Manufacturing and Engineering Industry Skills Forecast
2019 MSS Sustainability Industry Skills Forecast
2019 MST Textiles, Clothing and Footwear Industry Skills Forecast
2019 MSL Laboratory Operations Industry Skills Forecast
2019 MSM Manufacturing Industry Skills Forecast
2019 PMA Chemical, Hydrocarbons and Refining Industry Skills Forecast
2019 PMB Plastics, Rubber and Cablemaking Industry Skills Forecast
Also approved are the following Cases for Endorsement:
MEA Aeroskills Training Package (Addendum) for Certificate IV in Aeronautical Life Support Equipment – now available on training.gov.au
MEM Manufacturing and Engineering Training Package (Coding Addendum) – now available on training.gov.au
MSM Manufacturing Training Package (Release 5.0) – now available on training.gov.au
MSS Sustainability Training Package (Release 3.0) – now available on training.gov.au
MST Textiles, Clothing and Footwear Training Package (Release 2.0) – to be available shortly
And finally, the AISC approved the following Cases for Change to proceed to training package development:
MSM Manufacturing Training Package (Recreational Vehicle Manufacturing)
MSS Sustainability Training Package (Energy Management)
Please note that the Case for Endorsement for the changes to the MEA Aeroskills Training Package to address B1 license requirements will be considered at the August AISC meeting.
