ICA11

The updated ICA11 Information and Communications Technology Training Package includes 397 units of competency (240 in ICA05 Training Package) and 29 Qualifications and 80 identified imported units from other training packages and accredited courses.

The key outcomes of the review are:

• A range of new competencies and the revision of existing competencies.
• Environmental sustainability competencies are incorporated in the core or elective groups of each qualification.
• New qualifications in Digital and Interactive Games cover different artistic or programming skills required in supporting the design, development and programming of digital games.
• Year 12 students with relevant ICT can undertake Certificate IV in Computer Systems Technology, building career pathways in both IT and non-IT areas.
