Background
IBSA is pleased to announce that version 2.0 of the Training and Education Training Package (TAE10) has been endorsed by the National Skills Standards Council (NSSC). This includes the new Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (TAE50111) which is significantly different, and not equivalent to the ‘old’ Diploma of Training and Assessment. It represents a clear step towards helping RTOs improve the quality of their training and assessment and provide clear development options for their staff. Innovation & Business Skills Australia (IBSA) in conjunction with Precision Consultancy are now delivering professional development workshops nationally to help you introduce this new qualification. The workshops will also cover the new Diploma of Training Design and Development (TAE50211).

The workshop is designed for RTO representatives including managers, trainers, assessors and
other VET practitioners, and will have a strong practitioner focus. It will be of direct relevance to
