Background

The FNS10 Financial Services Training Package is the result of a comprehensive review of the FNS04 Financial Services Training Package in 2009 – 2010, with endorsement on 7th July 2010.

FNS10 has new and enhanced qualifications and units of competency which cover all the major financial services industry sectors and occupations for entry level positions and career progression. The financial services industry is subject to significant regulation and licensing requirements and FNS10 outcomes will prepare individuals for licensed job roles, as well as firmly supporting career progression.

The workshops will introduce FNS10 with a thorough explanation of its structure, suitability for industry, relationship with industry regulation and licensing and improvements to the previous version including ongoing continuous improvement activity.

Workshops will be interactive, have time for open and group discussion on all aspects of the new Package and any implementation issues will be addressed and worked through on the day.

Ideas for best practice delivery of training and assessment can also be shared.
