Reinventing Validation: a continuous improvement model

Innovation and Business Skills Australia (IBSA) in conjunction with RTObiz is offering business improvement workshops as an in-house program. Held over one full day, this practical workshop is designed for RTO staff and will introduce you to Reinventing validation: a continuous improvement model.

The workshops will assist your team to:

• Focus on delivering business value from your validation activities
• Establish a shared understanding of the critical work roles in an RTO
• Map out how each role can play their part in validation for continuous improvement
• Work with a simple validation framework that brings together your risk management, continuous improvement and compliance systems to support your RTO business.

This workshop also provides:

• Guidance though the entire validation process for your RTO
• A starter kit of validation tools
• The beginning of your validation plan
• Documented participation in validation

The Facilitators

Wendy Davies has extensive experience in the training and education, laboratory operations, biomedical research, community services, health, chemical and hydrocarbons industries. She has more than 15 years experience in developing and delivering industry training and assessment programs and assisting organisations with change management. She works with RTOs on their compliance systems and is a Training Package Quality Assurance panel member for DIISRTE. Wendy’s educational background includes studies in Training and Assessment and Applied Science.

Celeste has more than 12 years experience in vocational education and training, including industry consultation and policy advice to government, setting up RTOs and compliance systems, facilitation of industry networks to support VET practice and resource development projects. Celeste’s educational background includes Training and Assessment, Project Management and Communications (multi-media).
