Reinventing Validation: a business improvement model

Innovation and Business Skills Australia (IBSA) in conjunction with RTObiz is offering business improvement workshops nationally. Held over one full day, this practical workshop is designed for RTO staff and will introduce you to Reinventing validation: a business improvement model.

The workshops will assist your team to:

• Focus on the business value of your validation activities
• Establish a shared understanding of the critical work roles in an RTO
• Map out how each role can play their part in validation for continuous improvement
• Work with a simple validation framework that brings together your risk management, continuous improvement and compliance systems to support your RTO business.

This workshop also provides:

• Guidance though the entire validation process for your RTO
• A starter kit of validation tools
• The Beginning of your validation plan
• Documented participation in validation

The Facilitators

Wendy Davies has extensive experience in the training and education, laboratory operations, biomedical research, community services, health, chemical and hydrocarbons industries. She has more than 15 years experience in developing and delivering industry training and assessment programs and assisting organisations with change management. Wendy’s educational background includes studies in Training and Assessment and Applied Science.

Pauline Butler has over 16 years experience in the hospitality industry, and has owned her own agency supplying staff to hotels, restaurants and function centres. Her expertise includes staff management, team leadership, performance management, business planning, recruitment, rosters, payroll and managing small businesses. Pauline has more than 11 years experience in industry training and assessment, including delivering Training and Assessment qualifications. Her educational background includes training in Business, Vocational Education, Training and Assessment.

RTOBiz

RTObiz is a joint initiative from Wendy Davies Consulting, Celeste Howden, Butler’s Training Services and Transform Training & Consulting. They apply their expertise in business practice and AQTF compliance to help you add real value to your RTO business through compliance.

Audience

For all RTO staff who are looking to improve their knowledge and skills in RTO validation activities including trainers, assessors, compliance officers, admin and managers.

Full day workshop 9.30 – 16.30 including lunch: $490 per participant (inc GST).
