AMCOR identified a need to reduce the wastage within their businesses and to ensure consistent practices were in place across all sites. Swinburne was appointed to develop a tailored Certificate IV in Competitive Manufacturing, deliver the training, monitor the progress of each individual on the program and provide regular progress reports to AMCOR. CISCO Systems and Oasis Youth Support Network Bridging the Digital Divide
Because of the pervasive influence of IT within contemporary life, IT knowledge and skills have never been more important. In an attempt to help bridge the "digital divide" CISCO Systems has developed strategic collaborations with non-profit organisations like the Salvation Army to enable them to reach out to disadvantaged and at-risk people. Through this relationship, CISCO provides online curricula and materials to these organisations at no cost. Click here for further information.
Funtastic Pty Ltd

policy to reward and recognise staff for their performance. With Funtastic, Swinburne created three customised training programs. The outcomes include career development for staff through personalised and professional training which, for the company, has resulted in greater "buy in" towards Funtastic's future direction.
RACV

In addition to positive feedback from the participants, outcomes include more effective and productive staff, working with a greater sense of team and service to the customer.
SCHIAVELLO
In consultation with SCHIAVELLO, Swinburne identified the Certificate IV in Business Frontline Management as a solution to SCHIAVELLO's need to develop skills in their Frontline/Team Leaders.
