The recently endorsed Financial Service Training Package was submitted to NTIS on Monday September 27. IBSA expects it to be available on the NTIS website and IBSA's Review & Feedback Register by mid October.
Following endorsement of FNS10, IBSA has been collaborating with the newly formed Tax Practitioners Board (TPB) to make adjustments to relevant existing content of FNS10 before submission of the Training Package NTIS. This is part of IBSA’s ongoing commitment to ensure that the FNS10 Training Package keeps pace with regulatory requirements. The adjustments comprise:
- Minor revisions to FNS40610 Certificate IV of Accounting
- Minor revisions to FNSBKG405A Establish and maintain a payroll system
- Minor revisions to FNSBKG404A Carry out business activity and instalment activity statement tasks
- The identification of a new BAS Agent registration Skill Set, which comprises the following from FNS10:
- FNSBKG405A Establish and maintain a payroll system
- FNSBKG404A Carry out business activity and instalment activity statement tasks
All the revised material was submitted to key stakeholders for review and feedback. The revisions provide greater clarity and do not affect outcomes.
