IBSA Chair John Vines OAM presented the best learning and education award at the Australian Interactive Media Industry Association (AIMIA) awards held last Friday 16 March.

AIMIA is the trade body for the digital content, services and applications industry in Australia and its membership includes developers, creators, producers, investors, service providers, educational institutions and students. AIMIA is a key IBSA stakeholder and IBSA directors and staff were pleased to participate in the association’s exciting and diverse awards evening.

The learning and education award sponsored by IBSA recognises interactive media related to serving the needs of learners to acquire knowledge and skills; transforming schools, universities and other educational institutions through interactive, personalised and distributed learning resources; creating active e-learning communities and target models and solutions for corporate training, supporting first steps in multimedia.
