Following determinations announced by the NQC secretariat in June 2010 and additional provisions recommended for inclusion in July 2011, in respect of the benchmarks for AQTF trainer and assessor competencies; the NSSC has considered the options moving forward and published an amended and clarified determination of the evidence requirements to meet AQTF standard 1.4(a) and VET Qualification Framework (VQF) SNR4.4 / SNR 15.4.

RTOs and VET practitioners should note in particular that the NSSC guidance outlines that RTOs will not be required to demonstrate changed provisions until July 2013.
