| IBSA have developed a User Guide to support RTOs in implementing the Diploma of VET. This Diploma is essentially a new qualification, while it does have some links with the existing Diploma of Training and Assessment (TAA50104), the overall content and purpose differs markedly from this earlier qualification. The User Guide provides qualification specific guidance as well as commentary on generic issues around delivery of qualifications in the Education environment at a Diploma level. The qualification is examined from the point of view of these differences which should help RTOs in easily making the transition to this marque qualification. A particular feature of this User Guide is an exploration of the practicum that is intended to be associated with the achievement of the qualification. This has been implemented through the association of specific guidance on sufficiency of evidence in 3 key units of competence, drawn together in an holistic assessment process. |  |
