CUL04 Training Package Review

Project Closed

This project is now complete. CUL11 Library, Information and Cultural Services Training Package is now available to download from the Training.gov.au (TGA) website, and is available for purchase from the IBSA Online Store. Information below is for archival purposes only. 

Update - 24 August 2011

The validation component of the project is now concluded and the final draft CUL11 Library, Information and Cultural Services Training Package has been signed off by the National Project Reference Group (NPRG).

The draft Training Package is currently undergoing final editing and quality assurance before being submitted to the jurisdictions for their consideration, prior to submission to the National Skills Standards Council (NSSC) for national endorsement.

At this stage it is expected that CUL11 will be available on training.gov.au in the final quarter of 2011. More precise times will be posted as they become available.

The timelines for the remainder of the project are as follows:

Following feedback obtained from the latest round of validation workshops in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Alice the qualifications, units and skill sets for CUL11 have been revised and edited.

These are now available for validation and you can view all material here.

Update - 13th April 2011

Development

Following feedback received from the consultation process the draft qualifications and units have now been agreed in principle by the NPRG providing the framework for the development of new units and redevelopment of existing units. The proposed qualifications and units are available for viewing on the IBSA feedback register here. Please check the IBSA Feedback Register regularly for updates over the next few weeks.
