Thank you to the many individuals and organisations who have provided IBSA with feedback on the draft materials for the Foundation Skills Training Package. The public feedback period has now closed and the draft materials have been removed from the IBSA Feedback Hub.

The feedback process has been a valuable exercise that has highlighted a number of areas within the draft Training Package that need further work or re-design. IBSA is now working with our development team, quality assurance consultant and National Project Reference Group to determine how to go about making the necessary changes to the draft materials. Key themes that have been identified in the feedback will be considered during this process, including:

• Alignment of the FSTP with the Core Skills for Employment Framework 
• Approach to the inclusion of digital literacy 
• Detail and consistency in unit structure 
• Use of the streamlined template 
• Skill Set size 
• Qualification packaging rules 
• Additional units in some skill areas.
