Core Skills for Business - new booklet to help tackle literacy and numeracy issues

Recent ABS research has revealed that many adult Australians have difficulty with everyday literacy and numeracy tasks. Building the literacy and numeracy skills of employees can have a significant impact on business operations. This new booklet gives employers a starting point for tackling literacy and numeracy issues in the workplace. Core Skills for Business has been produced by Industry Skills Councils with funding from the Commonwealth Government through the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations.
