Identification and Development of Skill Sets for Inclusion in the Business Services Training Package

Consultation and validation for the following Skill Sets has now been finalised.

1. Contact Centres
2. Design Fundamentals
3. Innovation Leadership
4. Workplace Communications
5. AQTF auditing

The outcomes of the consultation and validation supported the inclusion of the Basic Contact Centre and Design Fundamental Skill Sets within the BSB07 Business Services Training Package. However there was no industry demand or support for the inclusion of Innovation Leadership, Workplace Communication and AQTF Auditing Skill Sets.

All feedback received during this period was analysed and presented to the National Project Reference Group (NPRG) at the end of August. After some consideration the NPRG concluded that the only Skill Sets in this suite of five that should be included in BSB07, were the Basic Contact Centre and Design Fundamentals Skill Sets.

These Skill Sets will be incorporated within BSB07 as part of the continuous improvement process, towards the end of 2008.
